Obviously I like to play with words and ideas when I’m working, and whilst I’m
still on the look out for work experience and opportunities to help develop my
skills I’ve decided to use this section to show the results of these excursions
SunBites
Whilst working with the lovely people at The Writer. Walkers SunBites. They are whole grain snacks from Walkers that sit somewhere between being crisps and a healthy snack. To do this I analysed rival brands and exploited this products USP to give it a unique competitive voice. I enjoyed the challenge and have posted some examples of my final outcomes here.

Sell Winter
It's cold, it's grey, it's wet. So how do you sell winter
Twining Teas
I love Tea. So being asked to taste and then write descriptions for boxes of Twinings tea seemed like a pretty good deal.
Genesis Posters
I had to read the bible as research for another project when I thought about translating it into SMS language. It’s a literal translation of the first seven days of genesis, which I then turned into posters I thought they could be used to encourage young people to go to church.

The Show '09
This is the poster for our final year show, it was a freak show theme and everyone needed their own blurb describing their talent. The artwork was done by Luke Buxton and Sarah Whittaker.

Strategy:
Welcome home.
Winter. It’s a strange thing, but those cold dark nights we so readily complain about are some of the warmest of the year. Evenings spent curled up in an armchair with a good book. Lazy mornings eating breakfast under the covers. Afternoons round the kitchen table with friends and a large mug of tea. Or even better, when you arrive home from work, to the smell of hot, fresh soup. Then go upstairs and slowly thaw out in a steaming bath. It’s about turning up the heating, and remembering how good it feels to be home.

Twinings Morning Detox
Some mornings it’s hard to shake your head from the pillow. For a gentler way to rise and shine try a cup of our carefully selected Detoxifying blend. We’ve combined Lemon rind, sweet-scented Limeflowers and tangy Lemon Verbena with cleansing Milk Thistle. This cup full of sunshine is all you need to put a spring back in your step.
Green Tea with Cranberry
Way back in 1191 Eisia, a Zen priest wrote the Kissa Yojoki, or Book of Tea. In it he spoke of the many health benefits harnessed in every cup of green tea. Since then the word’s spread and it’s become popular around the world as a source of anti-oxidants. We’ve combined it’s fresh taste with the essence of sweet Cranberries creating a warm, inviting cup. Perfect for a late afternoon lull.
Keemun Tea
The Chinese province of Quiamen (Pronounced Keemun in English) didn’t produce this Black tea until 1875. When Yu Quiachen, a failed civil servant travelled to a Fujian province to discover the secrets of Black tea. On his return he created a tea steeped with delicate hints of roasted nuts and dried fruits, which quickly became a favourite around the world. Try it on it’s own or with a splash of milk and you’ll soon see what makes this tea so special
